A Day in the Life

"On a regular day, my mom walks me in to school. If it is raining, she drops me off in the carpool line.
I go to class and do my desk work and then we say the morning prayers and the Pledge of Allegiance.

We get out whatever book Mrs. B calls out and we do our work.
Then we eat our snack, if we forget to bring one, Mrs. B gives us animal crackers or pretzels.

Then we do Wordly Wise, language arts and math.

Then we go outside to play if there is time, and then we go to PE.
If it is someone’s birthday they get to pick what we do in PE.

Then we go to lunch with the 1st and 3rd grades.
I like the matzo ball soup and I love the grilled cheese and tomato soup. After we eat we say the prayers.

Then we go to Hebrew, Morah Eta tells us what we need to do, tests are usually first. Then we do Torah and prayers. We also do Israeli dances and have a snack and story. If there’s time left, we go outside to play.
Then we go to the carpool line and get picked up.

I have been staying one day a week for volleyball, which is fun.

Also, each day we have something extra like art, music, technology, or library."
